I had this opportunity to go here a year ago and I still regret coming back from there. Laughing? Yes, it’s true, I am not the only one. Billions of tourists go there and never want to return back. In fact, almost all who visit Thailand, tourists’ extend their stay. The swim in the blue waters was more like a relaxing warm water bath.

One handy tip coming from a place of experience is, plan your trip for a few extra days, otherwise, you’ll end up overstaying and paying a hefty fine like I me.
The South-Asian Paradise Thailand
- PHUKET: So after stepping into this heavenly destination, my first stop was Phuket. The first word which my mind uttered after stepping into this beautiful Island was “Whoa!”. My eyes simply couldn’t believe if this was real. The white sand beaches, the crystal clear waters and the canopy of swaying palm trees was the perfect destination to cure my jet lag. Needless to say, Phuket is one of the most costly destinations but there are things you can do which are cheap. I took a speedboat ride to the neighboring Phi-Phi Island and found myself in love with the astounding beauty all around me. Apart from that, I got to try some exquisitely delicious street food which created a lasting flavor in my mouth. No matter how much money you have this destination is a must stop for your Thailand trip and trust me it’s totally worth it.
- BANGKOK: One of the busiest places in the world and absolutely jammed by travelers all across the globe has surprises for you at every turn. The bustling streets lined by mouth-watering Thai cuisines were the first ones to grab my attention. Munching on some of the culinary delights I went on a spree of tasting as many new dishes I could, so mesmerized was I by the Thai cuisine. As a fact, Bangkok welcomes the most number of tourists than any other place in the world. The extravagantly luxurious romantic hotels with absolutely clean rooms and the gratifying Thai hospitality is a thing you just cannot miss. I also took a tuk-tuk and roamed around the Chinatown the beautifully packed 1km strip of a street to check out the graceful Chinese temples and countless rows of wooden houses and shops. Simply roaming on those brightly lit busy streets in the middle of an unknown language, I felt a true sense of belonging.
- KoPha Ngan, Surat Thani Province: I walked into this peaceful retreat spot to simply meditate on the natural scenery. To my surprise on the full moon night, the beaches got unbelievably packed by the hippie crowd and there happened a wild and huge party on the Hat Rin. A beautiful place with stunning vistas and absolutely gorgeous resorts where you will enjoy every second of your stay.
- Chiang Mia: Translated as “New City” is the largest city in northern Thailand. A city made amidst the tall mountains sits astride the ping river. Quite contrary to the southern part this is very calm and soothing. People come here to simply seek peace. I took a motorbike ride to the beautiful and peaceful rainforest reserve and found myself having a psychedelic experience in the middle of that soothing silence and balmy forests. The plush green landscapes coupled with pristine cleanliness made me a fan of Chiang Mia.
Here I was with a bag full of heady experience and incredible vistas before my eyes that were creating a soothing and healing aura over my soul. Did you read till here? Aren’t you excited to go there and do the things that I did? I’m sure you are. So go ahead and book your tickets before you miss the nest flight to Bangkok. Happy Journeying!
