Here is my own creation of authentic Masala Chai tea Recipe. Indian Masala Chai or Spiced tea is a popular Indian beverage that is served in almost all households and tea stalls around the country. Masala Chai is a spiced tea which is spiced with Indian spices known as Garam Masala which are cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, fennel, bay leaf and peppercorns.

The recipe of Masala Chai varies from home to home. Its a simple and toothsome beverage that'll make your day. I personally love this Masala Chai Recipe a lot. Here is my very Personal and Authentic Masala Chai Recipe
Ingredients for this Masala Chai tea Recipe
- Tea leaves (4 tea spoon)
- Sugar (as per taste)
- Salt (1 Pinch)
- Cardamom Pods (remove the seeds)
- Cinnamon stick (½ inch)
- Cloves (4-5 pods)
- fennel seeds (1 pinch)
- 1 Bay Leaf
- ½ inch ginger (grated)

How to make Masala Chai? Step by Step (with photos)
- Step 1: I pour 100 ml water in a sauce pan and in it I throw in the bay leaves, grated ginger and tea leaves.
- Step 2: Now, I put the flame on low and allow it to boil.
- Step 3: Meanwhile, I Use a Mortar and Grinder to grind my spices into a powder and then I throw it into the boiling water as well.
- Step 4: Finally, I pour in the boiled milk.
- Step 5: The Final Step in making my Masala Chai is to throw in the salt and sugar and cover it.
- Step 6: I allow it to boil for 3-4 minutes on low flame.
- Step 7: Finally I use a siever and sieve the tea into a cup... and enjoy it with a cookie or two!
