Immerse yourself in the rich history of Colorado's gold mining at the Argo Mine in Idaho Springs. Golden, Colorado Clear Creek Canyon Park
This is one of the most beautiful area in Colorado where you can go for a walk. No matter what the weather, these trails will be your go to. There are several trailheads and all of them are scenic. But, I personally like the one which starts from the P2P parking lot near 6th&93 and goes right into the canyon.
Skyline Drive Near Cañon City
If you've been looking for the scariest road trips in Colorado then this is the one. Skyline Drive is a narrow road with steep inclines and declines. You'll be driving along a ridge with cliffs on either side and alert: there are no guardrails. All traffic is one way meaning once you start from Skyline Drive you cannot turn around.
Estes Park
This aint Switzerland or Hawaii or Austria. It's a paradise. It's the base camp for Rocky Mountain National Park and probably gonna be your favorite getaways. It's just 70 miles from Denver and has been one of the most loved vacation spots for people since last 150 years.
Ouray - Heart of the San Juan Mountains
Ouray is often referred to as the "Switzerland of America". It's a place where you'll just want to slow down and enjoy the peace of the nature. Summers is the best time to enjoy great views, indulge in beers and burgers. The rooftop patio with the view is super gorgeous.
San Juan Mountains - Blue Lake trail
This 8.7 mile trail or almost 10 mile where you'll gain an elevation of 2509 feet this is the hiking trail that is not going to be an easy one. You get to see three lakes on this hike and my favorite one if the Blue Lake. It's at the base of the trail but you could climb towards the middle lake.
Now that's just about Summers in Colorado. Not to forget that, Fall in Colorado magical. Its gorgeous. So are the winters. But summers are short-lived and so that's the one which we wait for all year long.
