So it’s Christmas time already! The long chilly nights are upon us and all our winter clothes are overflowing our closets. And when it's winter and Christmas celebration time, how do I leave my cats undressed? They too deserve to celebrate, isn’t it? I am a big, cat person. I am addicted to my babies and love them more than anything in thing in this world. So this Christmas season I have decided to dress my cats in fancy Christmas costumes.
These costumes look so adorable and irresistible in the shops that I could wait for a second, before buying them. And guess what, she loved it. She was not at all uncomfortable with the dress and struggled to get out of it. It's then I thought why not share with y’all some interesting ideas and adorable Christmas outfits that you can use to dress up your cats and kittens for a magical Christmas evening filled with the joy of your fur babies?
Adorable Christmas outfits for your Cats
- Hats: My cats love to wear hats. She sits quietly on my lap and waits eagerly like a fashionista to try on gorgeous hats. However, many cats do not prefer hats and get really uncomfortable in them. If this is the case with your cat, you can try to calm her down, allow her to get to know her hat and then if she still doesn’t want it, get rid of it. But if she likes it, read on. There are a plethora of hats you can try for your cats.
- Santa hats: Santa hats are easily available and look very cute on cats. You can go for the spiral Santa hats or the ones with a puffball at the end. They are my and my babies’ personal favorites!
- Antlers headgear: Although it’s not exactly like a headgear, it's more like a hat with reindeer antlers. Dress your cats in them and get them ready for the festive spirit.
- Santa collars: Give your cat her perfect Christmas collar. Go for red colors with little trinkets and white fur borders. My cats love them. But make sure your one is comfortable in it. There is no point in making her uncomfortable. She’ll get gibberish and cranky.
- Elf hats: Long green elf hats with puffballs in the end or elf hats with trinkets on the rim look very adorable on cats. Play with your colors and choose the one your cat loves the most. They look like ultimate Santa’s subordinates!
- Christmas sweaters: Dress up your cute cats in delicious red sweaters. They look damn cute and reflect just how much in festive spirit they are.
- Knitted elf hats: Make a hand-knitted elf hat for your baby. Use green and red or red and white to keep up the Christmas spirit alive and shining. Furthermore, hand-knitted hats just make the correct statement of how much you love them.
- Christmas Scarves: Drape your kittens in Christmas scarves. Use white and red scarves or green and red scarves for the Christmassy effect. Wrap it around her neck into a snuggled drape so that she stays warm for the night.
- Cone hats: cone hats look very adorable. Use cone hats for your cats with Christmas sweaters or Christmas shirts.
- Bows: Bows are the best way for cats to spell out Christmas. They generally love them and are really comfortable in them. Bow ties go well with all kinds of hats and are the perfect alternative to Christmas shirts or Christmas sweaters.
These were some interesting hat ideas and outfits to dress up your cats this season. Let us include them in our party this year and show the world how much they mean to us.
Merry Christmas!
