If there is one thing, which, is constant in my life, its f.r.i.e.n.d.s. Season’s come and go, people come and leave, but there is something dreamy and romantic about snuggling on your usual couch and watching the same TV show again and again. It’s like, some things are evergreen and they never get old. This is especially true for the people and things you love. It’s needless to say how much I love each character of this TV show but I want to tell you how much I love Christmas too.

25^th December every year brings a snowy sunshine in my life no matter how good or how bad the year is! So this year out of a sudden whim I thought why not make this day more special by heartily welcoming my friends through thick and thin into my Christmas party. So, I decided to decorate my room in f.r.i.e.n.d.s style décor. Here I am sharing some f.r.i.e.n.d.s style Christmas décor ideas.

F.R.I.E.N.D.S Style Christmas décor ideas

1. The one with the frame: Decorate your Christmas tree with the nostalgic Yellow frame which was our last glimpse of our F.R.I.E.N.D.S Home. Every Friends fan knows this yellow frame and putting it up on your Christmas tree is like the best tribute you can give to your group of friends gathered around for Christmas party. 2. The one with the holiday armadillo: Our love for Ross and his puppy dog eyes is never gonna be over. The one with the holiday armadillo is one of our favorite Christmas episodes, isn’t it? The one where Chandler is a pink bunny: This episode was so damn hilarious where Monica tried to gift Chandler his favorite book, “the velveteen rabbit’s” bunny costumes and she gets an adorable pink bunny Halloween outfit. Use bunny ears as your Christmas ornaments. Stick in a photograph of our one-liner king, Chandler, under it and make an eye-catching f.r.i.e.n.d.s costume with it.

5. The one where the cake tells it all: Bake an f.r.i.e.n.d.s style Christmas Cake with the purple cream and yellow frame icing. Could your group of friends, be any happier than this?
6. The one where Joey spells his charm: Joey’s charm in the season is unbeatable. There are so many wonderful memories of Matt le banc that it’s hard to pick just one, but still, you know his favorite line, “how you doin”. Get “how you doin” mugs printed to be used just for Christmas day.
7. The one with the lobster: Prepare a lobster tail grill barbeque dish for your guest. It’s not only delicious but it conveys our love for our friends just like our adored couple, Ross and Rachel or Rachel and Ross!!!
8. The one with Joey doesn’t share food: If you love “f.r.i.e.n.d.s” you cannot help but dig in delicious lasagnas after watching the show. Prepare delicious lasagnas for your guests and have a Joey kind of party. In fact, it’s not only lasagnas, remember the Thanksgiving episode where Joey finished two turkeys, prepare some of that too, you never know, you might have a friend like Joey who just needs that kind of pampering for the holidays and of course, “doesn’t share his food”!!
9. The one where Monica yells: Monica is my absolute favorite. I think of her and there is an instant smile pervading through my lips. And I think all Monica lovers would agree, her favorite line is, “I know”!! Use I know written mugs or banners for a wonderful Christmas wall décor which your guests will go gaga about, and you can exclaim like Monica, “I know”!
10. The one with Rachael: Rachel green is someone which I just do not forget about even if I try hard. The way the talented actress, Jennifer Aniston, pulled up the character is just, marvelous. Her pleasant demeanor, her charming attitude, her passive-aggressive behaviors, her in the definitive list of affairs, her on and off feelings for Ross, oh! It’s endless. But my favorite one was the last scene where she got off the plain and said to a paranoid and sobbing Ross, that, she got off the plane. It was so emotional. If you get one of those printed mugs, get, “I got off the plane” on it for sure!
11. The one with Phoebe’s smelly cat: Phoebe Buffay is true as Chandler once joked from another planet, and that is definitely named nothing but JOY. The Lisa Kudrow portrayed the character, couldn’t be any better than how she portrayed it. Get smelly cats, lyrics printed on mugs, curtains, cushions and what not. Just bring alive your dream fantasy of living the central perk life with your friends and toast to the Christmas cheer.

It’s been fourteen years that this 90’s sitcom is over but still, it has left a central perk shaped hole in our hearts that is never gonna get filled. This season, let’s make a little endeavor to bring back our favorite characters to life with the adorable f.r.i.e.n.d.s themed Christmas party and sing along:

It’s not important that all this mean something in real life, like for example how the characters of this show teach us. Life is shitty, people are bad, and things do not make sense to you. But honey that’s what life is! Just live it, happy and healthy!!
