How to make Panner Makhani at home
STEP 1: Put peeled and halved onions, garlic, and ginger to boil
STEP 2: In a mixer grind the Cucumber seeds, Cashew Nuts, and Cinnamon into a powder.
STEP 3: Now, put the boiled onions and garlic in a mixer with some salt and other spices (turmeric, pepper, Red chili, and Coriander)
And make a smooth paste of it. (Cool down the onions and garlic before you put it for grinding or else it'll splatter all over).
STEP 4: Put butter and oil in a pan and fry the Panner cubes until golden brown and keep it aside.
STEP 5: Now in that same pan put a spoon of oil and put in the blended spice mixture in it. Cook it in low flame until oil starts to separate from it. Add a little bit of water if it gets too dry.
STEP 6: Now add in the cashew nuts and cucumber seeds powder with some water. Mix it well with the masala.
STEP 7: Now, add in the beaten yogurt and mix it well with everything else.
STEP 8: Now add in the fried Paneer Cubes to the mixture and add water as per your need of the gravy. (This generally has a thick gravy so I prefer giving 2 cups of water and then boiling it over)
STEP 9: Plate it in a bowl and decorate with some Kasuri Methi (dried fenugreek leaves).
Step 10: Serve it hot with Rotis or Naan.
So, this is the best Paneer Makhani Recipe. Hope you loved it and shall make it for your loved ones at home.
