#8. Mekkah Masjid

This holy and pious Mosque is the largest Mosque in India. Mekkah Masjid is the perfect centerpiece around which the city of Hyderabad grew and evolved over time. Built by Muhammad Quli Qutub Shah, the central arch of the Mekkah Masjid was constructed by bricks whose soil was brought from the holy Mecca. Though it might look dingy and crowded there are crores of deals which are struck every hour of the day at Begum Bazar. Established during the Shahi rule, located half-a-kilometer from the Naya Pul bridge in the old city, Begum Bazar was actually a gift given to the merchants of Hyderabad by his highness - Nizam Ali Khan, Asaf Jah II's wife - Humda Begum. In her honor, the market began to be known as Begum Bazar. It is very near to the Charminar and the adjacent Moazzam Jahi Market. From household goods to the dry fruits to jewelry, Begum Bazar is also the second-largest fish market of Hyderabad after Musheerabad Market.

#10. Jagannath Temple
600 tons of red-sandstones were brought from Orissa to build this replica of the Jagannath temple of Puri by the Odiya community of Hyderabad. Situated near the Mir Alam Tank in Hyderabad the Nehru Zoological park dates back to October 1963. Housing exotic and indigenous wild animals like the Bengal Tiger, Asiatic Lions, Panther, Slender Loris, Pythons and Antelopes spread across 600 acres is one of the most popular places to visit in Hyderabad.
