#1. Climb the Penang Hill
My trip to Penang Hill was a fantastic one. I had a great time capturing some beautiful photos and chatting with the locals. The trip to the top was really cool. Once I reached the top the view felt breath-taking. I went there for some fresh air and picturesque bird-eye view of the city. Locals call it Bukit Bendera and I think climbing the Penang hill is one of the best things to do in Penang at night.
#2. Explore the Stunning Street Art
Penang Street Art has become widely popular today. It's this beautiful open gallery that I have always loved starring at. I visit Penang during fall and it was not that difficult for me to travel around the place but it might get difficult to explore in Summer or Wet seasons. Some of the murals here are so pretty that you'll feel being transported into a new world. You can easily get free street art map from all hotels in Penang. Go there and find how creatively the street artists have allowed themselves their weird and whimsical imaginations to flow freely.
#3. Khoo Kongsi
Penang is known for Kongsis, which are over a hundred years old. These Kongsis were built for the help of the immigrants so that one band can stay together. Unfortunately, this resulted in a lot of hostility and violence. The Khoo Kongsi is the most popular Kongsi in Penang and also a UNESCO World Heritage site built by Leong San Tong clan of Khoo Family (surname Khoo). It's a really beautiful place and one of the must-visit places in Penang. The breath-taking murals, 36 divine statues of the guardians, paper lamps and ceramic sculptures of dragon and carp fish is simply mind-blowing.
